I didn’t have plans to watch the Live 8 concert but a friend told me that I could watch it on the internet. This was the only reason I figured I could take a look at it. I actually enjoyed the feeds from AOLmusic. It was fast and the global feed moved to music after music. I checked MTV and they had people commenting on the concert. They had more commercials also. This is why I hate watching concerts on tv. Don’t talk about it let us watch. So I had a lot of fun watching bands in Canada, USA, UK, Germany and France. Left the global feed on and listened to music all day. Was actually entertaining.
Now I don’t know if this will do anything to stop poverty in africa. Years ago we tried and it didn’t work. At least this time we’re actually pointing the fingers at the right people who might be able to change things. I personally think they will get the money and debt forgiveness. But will it change anything? I don’t think so. I don’t know the solution to this problem. I think it would take a change in people and governments to make a difference. Maybe it will make a difference and I would be very happy with that.
