It’s christmas time again when family gets together and have some fun. Christmas is two days away and it’s getting excited. I don’t look forward to the presents. I look forward to getting together and watching the kids get there presents. I wonder when did it change for me? As a child christmas was only about presents for ME! Now I think about how much fun the kids will have with their new toys. Somewhere between being a child and becoming an adult things changed for me.

Politics isn’t everything

I don’t like politics very much. Everyone wants you to pick a side. The right or the left and then they judge you on that. I am in the middle somewhere. I lean more to the right on most issues but others I lean to the left. I vote for who I think will be right for the country not for the party. This time I wasn’t too happy with Bush. But I also wasn’t too thrilled about Kerry. Without going into a political debate with this post I decided to vote for Kerry. I was a little let down with the Bush win but I could still live. I really was happy when Ashcroft stepped down. Didn’t like him one bit! Well I’ll live with it and we’ll all be OK. Think positively!

Tooth ache!!

I never realized how much pain can come from a tooth. Seen it in movies but always thought is was an exaggeration. It started after eating a cookie of all things. I felt the first pain but still I could deal with it. took some pain killers and I was fine until the night. Why does the pain get worse when I lay down? So weird. That night I found listerine helped the pain go away for maybe 30 minutes. Then pow pain is back again. Well that night I didn’t get much sleep. I was too afraid to go to the dentist with all the horror movies I have seen about dentists. Ooooo Scary… I let this go on for a couple of days more foolishly.

The pain got so bad that I couldn’t even sleep. Now I know all about sleep deprivation. Read articles about it. Seen a reality show in the UK about it called Shattered I believe. Learned a lot from that show surprisingly. I knew I was getting tired, slow to react and fogetting things. Next thing would have been halucinations. Well I had no choice but to call the dentist. That night was painful but more fearful too. I didn’t know what to expect. Yes I haven’t been to the dentist since I was a child. Was glad I couldn’t sleep because I probably would have had a nightmare about teeth. Too make a long story short, (too late), I went in got a root canal and found out the visit wasn’t too bad. That was my first visit. Maybe I’ll write more.
